\nJasmine Sanchez-Ziller first discovered the world of mental health through her studies in Psychology and Behavioural Sciences at McGill University in Monreal. Additionally, having gone through the healthcare system herself, she has experienced first-hand the stigma and challenges of seeking help, as well as the importance of mental health care tools, knowledge, and supports. Jasmine has worked with a wide range of demographics including children and youth diagnosed with ASD and FASD, children and youth living in protective services, youth and adults at risk or involved in the criminal justice system, and adults facing homelessness due to addiction and severe mental illness. Jasmine is from Vancouver, BC where she previously worked in the Downtown Eastside (DTES), home of North America\u2019s first legal safe injection site and one of the highest rated neighbourhoods for homelessness, drug addiction, mental illness, and sex work. Jasmine now works as an addictions and mental health case worker and counsellor with the Canadian Mental Health Association in Kirkland Lake.\n
