Now, you will learn where to find the assignment and where to grade it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A. Finding your Students Assignment\/s<\/strong><\/p>\nScroll to \u201cCourse Management\/Grade Center\/Full Grade Center\u201d.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/1-1.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/1-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"201\" height=\"269\" \/><\/a>\nIn this view, you will see the name of all of your students in your class. As well as any of the columns when you created a test, or an assignment.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/2-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/2-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"628\" height=\"220\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Note: The Assignment #1 column was automatically created as soon as you made the assignment. Notice for the student Kelly, there is a yellow circle, with a white exclamation mark indicating there is a document there that needs grading.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/3-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/3-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"142\" height=\"81\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>B. Marking your Student\u2019s Assignment\/s<\/strong><\/p>\nClick on the down arrow and choose Attempt.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/4-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/4-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"127\" height=\"74\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/5-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/5-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"204\" height=\"173\" \/><\/a>\nThis then loads the assignment within this box view.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/6-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/6-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"277\" \/><\/a>\n<p>There are two tools available to help you mark this assignment.<\/p>\n1. The first is a Drawing annotation mode tool, found near the right side. It allows you to underline items, or put arrows to things that may be important.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/7-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/7-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"198\" height=\"86\" \/><\/a>\n2. You also have access to a text box. This allows you to place a text box anywhere in the assignment to provide instant feedback to the student.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/8-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/8-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"193\" height=\"68\" \/><\/a>\nThe Drawing tool works like a pen. After clicking this tool, you are able to underline anything you\u2019d like to get the students attention too. Once you draw the line, you click Save. Then click done.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/9-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/9-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"465\" height=\"238\" \/><\/a>\nThe Text box tool, simply choose the item. Click anywhere on the document you want the text box. Then type in your message. When you are done, you will click on post and close near the top.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/10-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/10-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"440\" height=\"323\" \/><\/a>\nThe student will see this blue text box icon next to the paragraph and will know there is information in there for them to read.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/11-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/11-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"38\" height=\"45\" \/><\/a>\nOnce you are done fully grading the paper, there is an area on the right hand side where you can input the students grade.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ss.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ss.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"224\" height=\"202\" \/><\/a>\nClicking the arrow here will also provide a place for you to leave feedback about the assignment.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/12-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/12-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"233\" height=\"71\" \/><\/a>\nSo if you wanted to say something overall, you could do that here. Downloading the student\u2019s assignment<\/strong><\/p>\nAlternatively, if you prefer to download the student\u2019s assignment, rather than marking it on screen. Again, click on the down arrow and choose attempt in the assignment column.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/15-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/15-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"204\" height=\"173\" \/><\/a>\nYou will notice the formatting we just did, is still there, but this time, where it says submission on the right, you will download the file from there.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/16-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/16-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"355\" height=\"62\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/17-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/17-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"532\" height=\"284\" \/><\/a>\nClick the arrow, then choose \u201cDownload Original File\u201d. This will download the assignment to your hard drive.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/18-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/18-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"297\" height=\"105\" \/><\/a>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>C. Another Way to Access Assignments<\/strong><\/p>\nYou can also access assignments by going to Course Management\/Grade Center\/Needs Grading.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/19-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/19-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"649\" height=\"110\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nYou you see that the test student submitted one assignment and it was marked as late as it was past the due date. In order to grade the assignment, simply click on the student\u2019s name. Then it will load in the same window you used earlier. You can use the same tools to mark the assignment and input the students grade.
