Add Audio File Option to Your Course<\/strong><br \/>\nTo add an audio file into your content on Blackboard, it&#8217;s very similar to the image file that we just input.<\/p>\n<p>1. For this example, I\u2019m going to navigate to and click on my Week 2 folder.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4453\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"654\" height=\"380\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. Click on \u201cBuild Content\u201d.<br \/>\n3. Click \u201cAudio\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>B. Selecting Your Audio File<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Create a name for the file.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-4454\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"619\" height=\"417\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. Click \u201c<strong>Browse My Computer<\/strong>\u201d to find the file.<\/p>\n<p>3. Select the audio file you want to use, and click \u201cOpen\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-4455\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"854\" height=\"420\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>4. You will now see the attached file.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4456\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"758\" height=\"336\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>C. Audio Options<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4457\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"926\" height=\"234\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>1. Under Audio Options, we have an Autostart feature. If you click \u201c<strong>Yes<\/strong>\u201d to this, the audio file will automatically start playing as soon as the student navigates to that page in the course.<\/p>\n<p>2. Loop gives you the option to loop your audio. If you put loop to \u201c<strong>Yes<\/strong>\u201d what that means is when the file gets to the end of play, it will automatically go back to the beginning and restart.<\/p>\n<p>3. You can also add alignment to content. For this example, we&#8217;re going to leave it at \u201c<strong>No<\/strong>\u201d as we just want it to go in on the screen on the left hand side.<\/p>\n<p>4. If you had a transcript for the audio item, so for example if you wanted to ensure that people with hearing difficulties know what&#8217;s being said, you could type out all of the words then you could attach that by clicking \u201c<strong>Browse<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e5-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4458\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e5-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"404\" height=\"67\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>5. We&#8217;re going to leave the <strong>Standard Options<\/strong> as is for now.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e6.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4459\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"749\" height=\"290\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>6. Click \u201c<strong>Submit<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>D. Review Your Audio File<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. You&#8217;ll now see that the audio file has been embedded in the content area of the week two folder.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e7.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-4460\" src=\"\/leid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/e7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"621\" height=\"258\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. When students want to listen to the file, they simply need to click on the <strong>Play<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n<p>3.
