- Liaises with secondary school educators, industry, upgrading/adult education centres, and other influencers for the purpose of collecting leads and recruiting students into Northern College’s skilled trades and technology programs;
- Visits high schools in the Northern College catchment, and throughout Northern Ontario and into Northwestern Quebec (other regions may be required) for grade 11/12 presentations, parent-teacher events, Grade 10 career classes, coop presentations, career and education fairs and follow-up visits;

- Master’s Degree in Education, Business, Biological Sciences, Mining Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, or related subject area;
- Seven (7) years of experience working in a higher education setting or managing human resources and budgets and participating in strategic planning is required. Experience must include progressive work experience leading to a management/leadership capacity working within a team and/or with external partners. Other relevant experience may be considered;
