Northern College is seeking a Finance Clerk, Accounts Payable in our Finance department. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to perform work accurately and with attention to detail.   • Verify completeness and accuracy of vendor invoices and request for cheque forms received (including travel, PD, and other expense claims);
  • Liaise with other finance personnel, customers/students/vendors, peers, and managers for the effective operation within the Finance Department;
  • Monitor finance department email and action as appropriate; and
  • Prepare and record bank deposits.

  • Two (2) year diploma or equivalent, in Business Administration with a major in Accounting; and
  • Minimum of 2 years of practical experience with an integrated financial information system utilizing the general ledger and accounts payable.
