Northern College is seeking Instructors to deliver Babysitting Training and Home Alone courses in our Northern Training Division. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and listening skills, will be able to adapt to change, be punctual and patient.

Reporting to the Manager of Community and Business Development, the successful candidate helps course participants gain the skills and knowledge needed to prevent injuries and manage common situations that may arise while children are under their care. The incumbent will provide youth participants with necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time.

What you will need to be considered:
▪ Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent;
▪ Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education, or another relevant field of study is preferred;
▪ Six (6) months work experience supervising youth in group learning environments; and
▪ Valid CPR & First Aid Certification.
