Northern College is seeking a Student Services Clerk in our Student Services department. The successful candidate will
possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as computer software skills, including Microsoft
Office Suite.

Reporting to the Campus Manager, Timmins, the successful candidate will set up and maintain student files and provide phone service and counter service to clients.

What you will be doing:

  • Collect, input and code all full time and part time activity in the Student Records System (SRS);
  • Liaise with sponsors and provide them with necessary breakdown of fees and other information;
  • Set up student payment plans;
  • Respond to phone and in-person inquiries;
  • Conduct all processes related to student registration;
  • Act as primary back-up for reception and print room; and
  • Act as primary back-up for the Facilities Coordinator to deal with urgent matters during peak timetabling and in their absence.

What you will need to be considered:

  • 1-year certificate in Office Administration or related/relevant field; and
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a related field, preferably in an education setting.
