By the end of this course, students will have demonstrated the ability to understand and apply the core principles of probability and statistics. Concepts studied include populations and samples; sampling techniques; frequency distributions; skewness, location, and measures of central tendency; variance and standard deviations; probability calculations and distributions; the Empirical Rule; z-scores and the Central Limit Theorem.
