Health & Wellness

We know that as a student you will need both physical and mental health services. Our health and wellness services are available for all students to secure support at the college and in the community.

Mental Health Advising

If you are facing challenges with your mental health, our Mental Health Advisor offers services and support to navigate referrals and supports for strategies to navigation and referrals to help and ensure students are never alone with these stressors. We also offer mental health support through Tailwind.

Fitness & Athletics

We know that keeping your body active is important to your academic success and our athletic facilities and programming make it easy for you to keep both your mind and body healthy. Each of our campuses is equipped with exercise rooms and a gymnasium, which are free for students to use. Our Timmins Campus Wellness Centre is also open to the general public by membership.

Nutrition

Each of our campuses has many options to keep your hunger satisfied and to fuel your mind during your studies. The Timmins Campus Chartwell Cafeteria offers fresh and ready-made meals and meal plans are available. Each campus is equipped with common areas and cafeterias to meet with classmates to eat.

Health coverage for international students is through Morcare. For more information and to access your account, please visit https://morcare.ca/.

All full-time registered students are automatically enrolled in the student Health and Dental Plan. To opt-out of our benefits, you can do so online as long as you have coverage by another provider.
