The Northern College Student Association (NCSA) is a student driven organization that seeks to meet the needs of each and every student on our campuses.
Through various events and social activities, the NCSA manage to bring everyone together and tend to the individual needs of our students though factors such as and age, program of study may make this challenging.
Fall 2024 Frosh Week Activities
Pick up a bingo card featuring locations throughout the community.
Take a selfie at as many locations as you can all week.
For each line, get a ticket into a draw. A full card gets 5 tickets.
Turn in your card to the NCSA Office on Friday to enter!
Join us for a BBQ lunch and activities from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the back parking lot and in the gym.
New students can pick up their Frosh Kits in the gym.
The free lunch is provded by our new cafe vender, Tap That.
Activities will be Inflatable Maze, Wax Hands, and Ropes Course!
Explore booths from 18 local businesses, organization, and college services available to students.
Participate in various games, take a spin on the 360 video stage, and participate in fun & games for a chance to win exciting prizes, including tickets and transportaion to Canada’s Wonderland Halloween Haunt!
Movie Night in the Gym at 9:00 to 11:00 p.m.
We will be hosting a jammie and movie night in the gym to watch Inside Out 2.
Our annual Foam Party will be held from 9:00 p.m. to midnight in the back parking lot.
The Miners Tavern will be serving alcoholic beverages with proof of age of majority (19+). ID must be presented at the door and at the bar.
Come down to the Haileybury Block Party!
The event runs from 12:00 to 10:30 p.m. on 373 Broadway St.
50 lucky winners will have their entrance covered to the block party.
Tickets can be won at Sports & Supports Fair day
Join us on Sunday, September 8th for a Breakfast in Bed Cafe from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Come in for breakfast items ($5 – $10) in the cafe and hang out and watch some fun movies in your jammies.

Hi, I’m Piper Robinson, the vice president of NCSA Haileybury Campus. I love to dance, or do anything artsy and creative. Im so excited to be a leader and help make positive changes throughout the year!

Hey y’all, my name is Aurora Dewar and I am the Director of Communications for NCSA Haileybury. I am in my second year of studying to become a Veterinary Technician. Aside from putting my skills to use as a member of NCSA, I enjoy singing and playing guitar as well as getting out into nature for hiking or even horse back riding. If you see me in the halls, please feel free to stop me and say hi!

Hi I’m Miranda, I am your Director of Athletics. I enjoy painting, playing video games and working out. If I am not in the NCSA office, in class or in the gym office, you can find me in the gym working out.

Hey, my name’s Matthew Hansen and I’m this year’s director of clubs at Northern College Haileybury. I’m currently in the vet tech program and spend most of my free time hanging out with friends and making music. If you have any interest in starting your own club I’m your guy, so don’t be afraid to reach out and I look forward to making your club idea possible!

Hi, I am Kaden Lewis. I am your NCSA Haileybury Director of Events. Originally from a small town in Northwestern Ontario, I am currently studying Veterinary Technology, soon Wildlife Rehabilitation. I am a LGBTQ2+ member and rep, love hanging out with friends and cooking. I look forward to making this year one to remember.

I love reading, being creative through music or visual arts, and spending time with my sweet cat. I look forward to working on this team and getting to know more people!
