The Northern College Student Association (NCSA) is a student driven organization that seeks to meet the needs of each and every student on our campuses.
Through various events and social activities, the NCSA manage to bring everyone together and tend to the individual needs of our students though factors such as and age, program of study may make this challenging.
Fall 2024 Frosh Week Activities
Tuesday, September 3: Orientation Day!
Welcome BBQ
Location: Cafeteria
Time: 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Frosh kits will be available for pick up.
Dietary needs including vegetarian and vegan will be available on a first come first serve basis.
Games and activities including Scavenger Hunt, Money Catch Game, Beach Ball Game, Photo Booth & Musical Chairs will be available from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Opportunity for socializing throughout the afternoon!
This event is for first-year students only.
Wednesday, September 4: Sports and Supports Fair
Our Annual Sports and Supports Fair will be held from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM in the cafeteria.
This event will feature a variety of sports and support college staff, business and local organizations available to students. Its purpose is to provide valuable information and opportunities for engagement, attendees can participate in various games, and win exciting prizes throughout the event.
Open to all on campus students, this event is running during your Student Develop hours so all student can attend.
Thursday, September 5: Email Contest and Meet & Greets
The days events will include an engaging Email Contest, offering participants a chance to win exciting prizes.
Additionally, the NCSA Meet and Greet in the Student Lounge will be held in two sessions:
- the first from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM and
- the second from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
During these sessions, NCSA members will introduce themselves to students and address any questions they may have.
Attendees will also be able to enjoy a selection of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and treats throughout the Meet and Greet.
Friday, September 6: Movie Night
NCSA are planning to host a Movie Night at the Lasalle Theatre.

Wednesday, September 18: Fun & Games & Prizes!
Fun & Games from 12:30 – 3:30 pm in the Cafeteria!
Play games and enter for a chance to win 2 Tickets to Canada’s Wonderland – Halloween Haunt (Transportation included).
Film a 360 video with your friends and share to socials for a chance to win a $500 prize!
