Student Representative to the Board of Governors
Student Representative to the Board of Governors
The Board of Governors is a leadership group that guides our college at a senior level.
The Board is responsible to govern effectively:
- to ensure Northern College is successfully managed;
- to achieve Northern College’s mission; and
- to remain responsive to community need and emerging opportunity.
Unlike the Student Association which is directly involved with student matters and advocacy, the Board is a governance body, working at the policy level and providing strategic leadership.
We need one representative, effective September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024.
Any full-time student enrolled in a program of study can be nominated to this volunteer position and is eligible to put their name forward!
