Indigenous Cultural Awareness Week at Northern College

Every year, we come together to celebrate, learn, and share through Indigenous Cultural Awareness Week. This year’s is full of exciting activities, including our very first canoe clinic and races! 🚣‍♀️

A huge thank-you to Apitipi Anicinapek Nation for generously sponsoring this event, and to Omushkego Education at Mushkegowuk Council for sponsoring our daily student breakfasts in the Shaputuan (9 AM – 11 AM). 🙌

Workshops will be hosted in our permanent tipi, Ma-Mo-Kee-Keh-Nah-No, meaning “Together our Home.”
