This course builds on previous pathophysiology learning by examining progressive and chronic health alterations. Students explore disease progression, related clinical manifestations, and the physiological changes that affect function, cognition, and quality of life. Emphasis is placed on applying pathophysiology knowledge to the interpretation of signs, symptoms, and diagnostic findings to support clinical reasoning and understanding of client health conditions.
