Recertification: Standard First Aid with CPR/AED
Our comprehensive courses are designed for those who need training due to work requirements or those who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. The training includes First Aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and also includes an orientation on automated external defibrillators (AED’s).
Participants will be challenged with theory and practical skills as well as scenarios. Training meets federal and a variety of provincial/territorial regulations for Standard First Aid and CPR and is recognized by WSIB and HRSD.
Candidates can take a 1 day re-certification course on the third year of original certification prior to certification expiry. Participants receive 3 year certification upon successful completion.
This session is not for re-teaching first aid or CPR rather just to review the first aid and CPR/AED skills and go over any new techniques that have changed over the past three years in CPR or first aid.
To qualify for recertification, you must make sure you are using the same provider who issued your current certification.
We offer this course in Haileybury, Kirkland Lake, and Timmins. If you are seeking First Aid and CPR training in Moosonee, please contact Diane Ryder at ryderd@northern.on.ca or 705-336-2913 ext. 5601.
We also offer a full two-day Standard First Aid & CPR course.
