Northern College Community Employment Services offers a range of free services and supports to respond to the career and employment needs of individuals as well as employers, to assist in higher skill training and employment.
Services can be provided in English and French and are available to anyone, including those who are employed, unemployed or under-employed, students, apprentices, internationally trained individuals, and employers. Employment services include various programs such as job search assistance, job matching and placement, job retention support and follow-ups.

Ontario’s new Better Jobs Ontario program may help you retrain for a new in-demand career. Accepted students can access up to $28,000 in paid support for tuition, living expenses, and more.
Better Jobs Ontario has replaced Ontario’s Second Career program. People who may benefit from Better Jobs Ontario include Ontario residents who have been unemployed for six months or more, laid-off workers and gig workers.

The Community Disability Support Program (CDSP) provides employment assistance and support for people with disabilities in order for them to enter or re-enter the workforce. The program connects people with disabilities to sustainable, competitive employment by providing the support they need to get a job, keep the job, and advance in their careers.
The Community Disability Support Program allows individuals to work, become independent, and reach their employment potential. Anyone with a verified disability or impairment that results in substantial barriers to employment can apply.

Train your workers and watch your team and business succeed. The Canada-Ontario Job Grant offers employers training incentives.
