Surface Miner Common Core

This program covers the 3 mandatory common core modules required for anyone wanting to work in a surface mine environment.
An in-depth analysis and discussion of these modules will be conducted, and a certificate will be awarded to successful participants upon completion of the program. This course is a pre-requisite for the Surface Miner Common Core—Generic First Line Supervisor Program (#770141)

The Phlebotomy course teaches participants how to draw blood and obtain specimens promptly, efficiently, and safely from patients. Participants will learn how to use the vacutainer system, prepare the patient, dispose of contaminated supplies and much more.

Our Pottery class is welcoming of all students, of all skill levels. This course includes stoneware, hand building and wheel work.
Class projects and patterns will be included. Each student will be provided with clay and will have the use of communal supplies and tools.
Standard First Aid & CPR/AED

Our two-day in-class course for Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Adult, Child, Infant (Formerly Level C) with optional BLS (Basic Life Support) component for Health Care Providers (formerly HCP) provides participants with the knowledge needed to manage choking, breathing and heart-related emergencies such as heart attack, stroke and cardiac arrest.
We also offer recertification courses.
Ontario Security Guard Training
Ontario Security Hub is an Ontario Ministry-licenced security organization based in Toronto, Ontario. As a Ministry-licenced company, they serve customers across Ontario, and they can issue all Training Completion Numbers (TCNs) directly. Their course follows the required syllabus set by Ontario’s Private Security and Investigative Services Branch.
Microsoft Office Suite
Courses can be completed in less than a day while giving you in-depth and robust training and practice in the many functions of each Microsoft Office software program. Courses available include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, SharePoint, and Planner.
