As a new student at Northern, we want you to know you are in good hands.
We understand there is a lot to navigate when you start your college journey, from finding your way around campus to learning how to find support for the many aspects of your student experience.
Orientation is designed to help you discover all the services available and help you succeed in your studies!
Fall 2026 Orientation starts Tuesday, September 8, 2026
Our pre-orientation training modules aim to help new students best prepare for their academic success.
The modules to help you prepare for life at Northern College are available on Blackboard.
Take the Modules
Start the day with a meet-and-greet and Information Session with our Advisors, Deans, and Student Services between 8:30 to 9:50 a.m. to get to know all the campus resources, campus safety measures, and all the supports available to you as a student.
After the Information Sessions, you’ll meet with your program faculty and classmates to prepare for classes to start! Times and locations are sent to student email and on Blackboard.
