First Aid and CPR/AED

This two-day in-class course provides participants with the knowledge needed to manage choking, breathing and heart-related emergencies such as heart attack, stroke and cardiac arrest. Other first aid skills include management of severe bleeding, shock and fainting. Participants will be challenged with theory and practical skills as well as scenarios.

The Ontario Hunter Education Program will assist participants to understand the natural world and become a knowledgeable and responsible hunter. The program also reinforces the firearms safety information contained in the Canadian Firearms Safety Course.

If you have never tried pottery before we encourage you to join. We also welcome experienced potters looking to further their skills and try some new techniques.

Phlebotomy
The Phlebotomy course teaches participants how to draw blood and obtain specimens promptly, efficiently, and safely from patients.Participants will learn how to use the vacutainer system, prepare the patient, dispose of contaminated supplies and more.
Ozone Depletion Certification
Timmins: September 23
The Ozone Depletion Prevention Certification course is a one-day environmental awareness program. The course and the accompanying participant manual deal with the proper handling of CFC/HCFC/HFC. The certification is valid for 5 years.

Ontario Security Hub is an Ontario Ministry-licenced security organization based in Toronto, Ontario. As a Ministry-licenced company, they serve customers across Ontario, and they can issue all Training Completion Numbers (TCNs) directly. Their course follows the required syllabus set by Ontario’s Private Security and Investigative Services Branch.
