Our Pottery class is welcoming of all students, of all skill levels. If you have never tried pottery before we encourage you to join. We also welcome experienced potters looking to further their skills and try some new techniques.
Firearm Safety & Hunter Education
Various dates and locations
New hunters of all ages must take Hunter Education training and pass an exam before they can purchase their first hunting license. The 3-day combined Firearm Safety & Hunter Education course will assist participants to become a knowledgeable and responsible hunter. The Firearm Safety only is available as a two-day course.
Communication Management
Timmins Campus – January 13, 2026
Gain the skills needed to handle all types of communication situations with an open, adaptable, genuine, and self-confident approach. Be able to build collaborative relationships based on trust and respect to build an effective working environment.
Ozone Depletion Prevention
Timmins Campus – December 10, 2025
The Ozone Depletion Prevention Certification course is a one-day environmental awareness program. The course and the accompanying participant manual deal with the proper handling of CFC/HCFC/HFC. The training is suitable for residential, commercial, industrial, domestic, automotive, and mobile applications.
Intro to Supervisory Management

Introduction to Supervisory Management will help you transition from being a team member to a role of added responsibility. It will give you the skills needed to prepare for and make the transition into management a positive experience.
Advanced Supervisory Management
Timmins – December 8 to 9, 2025
Organizational leaders, supervisors, and managers are consistently pressured to make deadlines and lead teams to success. The art of managing people has evolved, and even the most seasoned leader must learn to adapt, understand, and embrace change. Advanced Supervisory Management will teach leading-edge management practices that are effective and productive.
Phlebotomy
Various dates and locations
The Phlebotomy course teaches participants how to draw blood and obtain specimens promptly, efficiently, and safely from patients. Participants will learn how to use the vacutainer system, prepare the patient, dispose of contaminated supplies and much more. Certificates will be issued to participants who attend all instructional hours and successfully complete two venipuncture’s and one capillary draw.
Standard First Aid & CPR/AED
Various dates and locations
Our two-day in-class course for Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Adult, Child, Infant (Formerly Level C) with optional BLS (Basic Life Support) component for Health Care Providers (formerly HCP) provides participants with the knowledge needed to manage choking, breathing and heart-related emergencies such as heart attack, stroke and cardiac arrest.
We also offer recertification courses.

Ontario Security Guard Training
Ontario Security Hub is an Ontario Ministry-licenced security organization based in Toronto, Ontario. As a Ministry-licenced company, they serve customers across Ontario, and they can issue all Training Completion Numbers (TCNs) directly. Their course follows the required syllabus set by Ontario’s Private Security and Investigative Services Branch.
Microsoft Office Suite
Courses can be completed in less than a day while giving you in-depth and robust training and practice in the many functions of each Microsoft Office software program. Courses available include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, SharePoint, and Planner.

Program and courses offered with the University of Fredericton include Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Systems (COHSES); Safety, Health and Environmental Management (SHEM); Psychological Health & Safety in the Workplace; Integrated Disability Management; and Ergonomics.
